S&H and fanfiction

This is just for fun as a thank you for my editors, Dawn and Anachron.  They've been a huge help on my last couple stories and beyond!  Writing fan fiction is hard work...


H:  I really appreciate this, Starsk.  An author can never edit his own work.
S:  Happy to do it, Hutch.  I never knew you were into slash fiction.



H:  I'm so nervous to have you read that.  I'm sweating.
S:  I'm being very objective.  Don't worry.



H:  You know, you don't have to read it right now.  Take your time.
S:  I can't put it down, Hutch.  Once I read it through, I'll make my edits.



S:  Not now, Cap'n.  I'm busy.



S:  This part doesn't make sense.  I don't know.  The sentence structure is a little awkward.



S:  You have to learn to cut back on the metaphors.  Every detail needs to move the story forward.  Do you see?



H:  The whole damn page is red, Starsk.
S:  You asked me to help you.



H:  What does that mark mean?
S:  You need to start a new paragraph.



S:  Yeah, it's looking better, but I still have a problem with this scene.
H:  Damn it.



S:  He's pretty uptight, Cap'n.  He's looking it over one last time before he hands it off to you for the final edit.



D:  What does this word mean, Hutchinson?  Spunk?  "He was covered in spunk."  Does that mean he had a lot of energy?
H;  I told you that was a stupid word for it, Starsk.



H:  Fifty Shades eat your heart out.  Who'd a thought what the public really wanted was a little action in the backseat of a striped tomato.



S:  Where's my cut?  I was your editor after all.

Ok...Just spat out my drink in one great splutter...too much to take! God the shot with Dobey "what does this word mean?" OMG - what a lot of laughs you've given to me today DG - my face has used muscles it hasn't exercised in ages.

BTW...I want more. You are one seriously funny "cutter". You must have won all those prizes when you were a kid where you had to provide the best fitting caption to a shot or a photo.

Thanks k2b! :) You know, StarskyHutch 911 used to have a "Caption This" where they put a photo on there for everyone to caption. It was so fun, and everyone had such great responses. Haven't seen one in awhile. If you like this stuff, you should look up the tag, "caption this" and see if that brings them up! :)
